Architectural drawings, 1863.

Consists of 13 drawings by John Cunningham that were inspired by and perhaps copied from A.J. Downing's work. Eight leaves showing a dwelling (front and end elevations, framing, and floor plans), four leaves depicting a stable (first and second floors and two elevations), and an inserted plan detailing stone work for a block of three brick houses at the corner of Bellingham and Shurtleff Streets are included. The drawings are in color and fairly detailed. For instance, the floor plan for the house points out where the sink, oven, and boiler were to be positioned in the kitchen. Cunningham specified locations for two horse stalls, a harness room, a cow stall, stairs to the second floor, and a place for grain in the stable. The elevations show a yellow exterior, bluish windows, a slate colored roof, natural-finish doors, and brick-red chimneys.
